In a fast paced world focused on technology, my students need a way that doesn't involve technology to keep up and compete with students of other cultures. Engaging print material is the best way for us to do this. Scholastic magazines are filled with engaging, educational and current information and I know my students will really benefit from these materials! Since our classroom consists of grades K-8, I really need to maximize how I use my time to reach each student so focus has been on math and reading. In order for science and social studies learning to be maximized it has to be incorporated into these two subjects which is another benefit of using scholastic magazines!
