The students in my class will use the iPad to make voice and video recordings as an alternative assessment. In addition, they will use it to practice their reading and math skills using research based programs. Most importantly, they will use it to create presentations, audio books, Youtube videos and more. The standards require that they create audio recordings of poems and stories and an iPad is the perfect tool for this. We will place our iPad in a recording booth and the students may choose to use it to make a recording and explain what they have learned in science and social studies.
