My students struggle at times with reading and need a hands on advantage to help them achieve their goal of reading. Each student in my class is learning to read and are at different stages in that journey. The students in my class have learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder or ADHD and require some special items to make the learning to read experience more meaningful and authentic. The magnet letters and sight words will give every student the opportunity to build the sight words and make sentences with all the words we have learned. Many students struggle with fine motor skills and writing so these magnets and touch manipulatives will give them chance to interact with the lessons in a way that will promote active learning.
