These Chromebooks will continue to enhance the technology-rich classroom that I strive to create. Many of the students in my classroom do not have the privilege of using technology in their homes. The only technological exposures the majority of my students receive are when they are in our wonderful classroom. I want to provide an educational environment where there are multiple and consistent opportunities for my students to improve their computer skills. By having these Chromebooks in my classroom, I will be able to provide small group instruction to help my students become more proficient with computers. One of my primary goals this school year is to have each of my third grade students excel on the keyboard. By donating to our project, you will not only help improve and increase student computer skills, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement which in turn will help change the trajectory of their lives! In this technology literate world, consistent interaction with computers is a MUST and will be beneficial to my students' literacy as well as their desire to be lifelong learners!
