New books for our classroom library will allow students to gain new experiences as well as increase their vocabulary and overall reading skills as they excitedly delve into age appropriate texts. Not only will students be able to explore these new texts independently, but they will also get to use them in a group setting to learn valuable lessons and deepen comprehension and critical thinking skills. Students will also analyze the major problem within the stories and then engineer solutions to solve the problem and "help the characters." New books will help me continue to challenge and grow my students' minds as they learn and problem solve.
