A sensory corner would aid our students in language development, motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interactions. Sensory play is an integral part of child development. Please consider helping our classroom become a sensory friendly environment. The sensory corner will provide students with a calming environment that will help students be successful in the classroom! These sensory objects provide hands on learning opportunities for all learners. The light table with sensory tray will help soothe students with who are easily overwhelmed in a typical classroom environment. Providing a safe and calming space for students with disabilities to learn and explore is imperative!
