Every week we learn about different parts of the world and how we are different and how we are all the same. We explore our differences and see what makes us who we are by exploring culture awareness. We work together to learn and create presentations where students can show off their new knowledge. The dry erase boards will be useful for them when they present and I can reuse them all year long which is a plus in a low-income community. My students work hard and come to school every day ready to learn more about places they can someday visit. They learn the mistakes countries including our have made and successes that we have made. I would love to add to my classroom library Exploring Other Countries Photo Book Series so that students can explore further. History is my passion and my students enjoy that!
