Flexible Seating helps all scholars learn while inside the classroom. Students who have special needs will feel more comfortable throughout the day if they have comfortable furniture to sit on. No matter what disability, ensuring that students have different types of seats will provide them with choices throughout the day. Regular classroom chairs are just not cutting it anymore. My students are anything but regular. The plastic is just too hard. Students who have special needs end up on the floor and at times under the table. Flexible seating, be it soft, or bouncy will help students be at ease throughout the day. Please help my students to be calm, comfortable and relaxed in their learning environment.
