Most of the teaching I do in my classroom is project-based. The language learners in my classroom as well as my native English speakers benefit from this learning style. In order to help facilitate cooperative learning, the table, bookshelves and art supplies will provide a common space and will make their projects complete and meaningful. Drawing makes thoughts and ideas come to life for students with limited language proficiency. Being able to work in a small group with the assistance of a table will also allow for me to focus my attention on one small group of students at a time and give them the individual or small group attention they may need.
