These journals are better than the composition journals because they can add their unfinished work, returned work, notes, warmups, and tests all in one place to be organized to study. They cannot lose these as they will be kept in the classroom and not sent home. With serving over 100 students, binders will be color-coded and numbered per class period to be picked up at the entrance every day and returned when dismissed. At the end of each 9 weeks, students make take all items and staple together while I keep them till the end of the ​year to study for the STAAR test.
