Currently, I work with approximately with 75 kindergarten, first and second graders over a course of a school year. These students are selected because they struggle in the areas of literacy and mathematics. I do my best as an instructional strategist to make learning fun and exciting for my students. Sometimes it is difficult to do this with very few hands-on materials and resources in my room. My students will use these hands-on learning materials to reinforce literacy and math skills learned in my small group. I have chosen materials that either I lack in my classroom or could enhance my teaching.
