Having a cozy reading nook set up in my classroom gets readers excited about learning and comfortable reading independently, with a partner, and in a book club. I want them to feel that reading is an opportunity to learn and not a chore. I want them to look forward to coming to my class each day. I want them to be comfortable in their learning environment and strive to progress. Kids get excited about a new carpet and a cute chair to nestle up in. These items really help motivate children to want to come to class and learn. I hope you will help me make this happen.
