My students have very little access to nonfiction literature. I have been looking for somthing that could reach my entire class and get them captivated by science. This subscription would put a magazine in each one of my students on a monthly basis. My plan is to have students take this home and weekly we will spend time discussing the latest science and what they are reading. It will motivate students to read and discuss, and it will give them insight to science in the real world. I grew up as a science teachers son and I always had access to resources that made me love the subject of science. I want my students to have this same opprotunity and who knows it might just motivate a rural bluecollar community student to become a great scientist.
