The use of the Chromebooks will assist my students that do not have access to computers in the home. Many of the topics covered in my class are both project- and research-based, thus having such resources readily available will greatly enhance their learning. Their unfinished work could also be saved on flash drives and continued later during the instructional time. The Chromebook laptops will also be assigned to groups so that each group can research and collaborate with each other during projects. The use of the Chromebooks will also enhance the students' editorial and creativity skills, which I feel will make learning for them more fun. I firmly believe that when students feel like work isn't "work," they tend to do better.
