All students are motivated to read when their teacher is excited, book choices are presented to them, and they have had an opportunity to make their voices heard in selecting books that appeal to their interests. Check plus for teacher excitement already! Hopefully, beginning to build a classroom library based on what they already love helps to check off those other two boxes. Young readers need to practice reading daily, and I want to provide reading opportunities that will inspire my students to read and be excited about reading. Please join me in giving them this opportunity to change their lives.
