Having a science exploration center would be so engaging for my kindergarteners! We have literacy and math centers, and adding a science exploration center would be so exciting for them. The items in the specimen center would engage curious minds to all the different mammals, sea life, birds, reptiles there are in the world. They would also love to look through those neat viewers. I have also asked for picture books for my classroom. I am a new teacher and do not have many books to read at our carpet on a daily basis. These books would allow me to read wonderful stories to my students and then take what we have read, discuss with their classmates, and then draw pictures and write about it.
