These hands-on coding tools and books will help my littlest learners as I introduce computer programming. At the preschool and kindergarten level students learn best by engaging in play, so it is important to have age-appropriate materials that are easy for them to use independently. Coding involves problem-solving and trial and error, so having a hands-on approach provides them a way to figure out how to make it work These coding tools will provide them opportunities to learn with games and coding robots made just for their little hands. I am also excited to start building a coding library of books to spark an interest in computer programming. I will be able to use these books to start a lesson and teach the language of coding. Computer programming is a growing field and it is so rewarding to watch even the youngest students get excited when they figure out how to code a robot or create a game.
