3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students use iPads to explore musical concepts and compose their own songs, and we need headphones. It is very difficult to focus when every iPad is playing or narrating something different at the same time. We need headphones to replace those that are missing or broken. My students need headphones to focus their attention on their digital compositions. When up to 30 students are working at once, the sound in the classroom makes it nearly impossible for students to distinguish what they are creating from their neighbor’s work. Students with sound sensitivities often shut down and are overwhelmed by the music. We only have 14 semi-functioning headphones, and we need a class set.
