After the tragic mass shooting that recently affected our community, we want our students to feel comfort and care in their very own "Safe Space" in our counseling area in our school. Many of our students also are struggling through the transition of deployment of their mom or dad or sometimes both...we felt it will be a HUGE benefit and help to them to know they have a warm and comforting area to come to when they are feeling grief and or anxiety about what they may be going through. Our students with Autism will also find this to be a comforting sensory area to come to when they need a chance to get in control of their emotions.

About my class
