Most young people are motivated by the use of technology, and our students have access to computers to enhance their learning when appropriate. As a new teacher, I am constantly looking for new ways to incorporate new materials into my daily lessons. I believe that a classroom iPad will be a great new addition to our classroom. This will help with testing, small group activities, interventions, etc. My students will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable higher level learning. An iPad helps students who are kinesthetic and visual learners open up the doors of education and individualize their learning experiences. The iPad will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build 21st century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world.
