These resources will help students appreciate the beauty and fun in mathematics. Game play facilities a growth mindset and will spark students’ interest in math topics. Cooperative learning, reasoning, problem-solving, and logical thinking will be highlighted with these resources. Students will use these resources during “morning sets” which are designed to get students excited about coming to school each morning. Our school has seen this make a positive difference in attendance and was successful in decreasing tardiness. Students are ready to be active learners when the school day starts and things get off to a great start, transferring to the remainder of the day.
