These products will allow my students (in-person and virtually) the ability to collaborate more successfully while learning. Several of my in-person learners can't afford to purchase headphones, so providing those devices will help them tremendously. They will be able to engage in partner activities with their virtual cohorts and listen to selections from our digital reading textbook at their own pace. The tablet will afford me the opportunity to master my hybrid-learning classroom instuction so that my virtual students will feel more connected to my lessons while teaching both in-person and virtual students. The digital Scope magazines from Scholastic provide engaging, real-world nonfiction texts that are aligned with state reading and writing standards and will allow me to differentiate my lessons so that my sixth graders do not get bored with the textbook.
