As of now, my classroom is full of desks. These desks make my students jittery and unable to focus for an extended period of time. With all of these flexible seating options, I hope to prevent some of these jitters so that the students are able to have a successful classroom day. I would love to incorporate wobble seats, lap desks, and cushions for my students. The wobble seats will be used for my more active students to help them get out some of their energy and use this energy to focus more on the lessons in front of them. Lap desks and cushions for the ground, will help them get out of their uncomfortable desks and hard chairs. I hope to include all of these flexible seating options into my classroom. I cannot wait to see what flexible seating can do for my students and their overall success in the classroom!
