Students in my class struggle with gross and fine motor skills. Most students receive Occupational or Physical Therapy. A difficult common task for each student is writing. In order to assist with learning to write, I am requesting slant boards. These slant boards help stabilize the students paper. It also brings their task closer to them so that they can see their work better. If students can raise and stabilize their work they have a better opportunity to learn to write. I'm requesting a class set so each student is able utilize their own board throughout the day during center's and whole group instruction.
