Students will get to participate in one of the most memorable field trips at their elementary school! These 4th graders will get to travel to the Railroad Museum, Wells Fargo Museum, pan for gold, and walk through Old Town Sacramento. While in the middle of learning about the Gold Rush, and California's state history, students will get a hands-on experience with this field trip that will help reinforce the material they are currently learning! Experiences like this field trip only help reinforce the content taught in the classroom. Students will get to walk through real trains and learn about the Pony Express, and see real life stage coaches as they travel around Old Town Sacramento. Students will also get to pan for gold using techniques miners used back in the day! It's a fun filled day living the life of a miner!
