My 4 and 5-year-olds love exciting science projects as much as they love recess! They solve real-world problems with technology. My class will build with anything from Legos to paper towel tubes. Art projects happen with or without direct instruction. They use math to find both answers and fun. What's the best way to include all of that? STEAM! Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) happens naturally in our classroom. We promote it, we encourage it, and we celebrate it with all of our students. STEAM activities are so engaging, that even the littlest of learners find that spark to draw them into asking questions, problem-solving, and discovering how things work. We would love to be able to continue providing them the opportunities they love to learn more through STEAM lessons in the future!
