The use of the Tecre button maker and other materials that I am requesting for my students will enhance learning about mass production and the assembly line 100%. My students will work in cohort groups at several stations that go into the production of making the buttons. There will be design stations, cutting stations and finally the button pressing station. The students will not leave their stations only the buttons will move, just as if the buttons were cars on Henry Ford's assembly line. Students will be able to keep their finished product and wear it throughout the school year. This project will be an awesome opportunity for students that are hands-on learners and help provide equity for the entire class.
