We are requesting cushions, paint, Touch and Trace letter cards, Bananagrams, a Guided reading Collection and more. Funding my project will ensure that my students will have some of the same reading resources and materials as students that live in high income areas. I plan to use the books to teach them how to read and become great writers. By exposing them to rich language they will have the opportunity to succeed. They can also independently use these resources in stations throughout the classroom. My goal is to teach my students to love learning. I want my scholars to have such a deep hunger for knowledge that no one or nothing will get in their way. Together we will strive for excellence.
