All of my students come to school eager and ready to learn. As a veteran Kindergarten teacher, I am always looking for ways to engage and excite my students to learn in the classroom using technology and innovative ideas. Augmented Reality brings learning to life! It is easy to use which empowers children and gives them the satisfaction that they are in control of their learning at school. This self-directed learning increases their focus and information retention. It motivates and engages children of all abilities to learn. With “Letters Alive” in our classroom my students will be actively engaged in learning literacy skills! The engaging research based technology tool “Letters Alive”, will helps students learn uppercase and lowercase letters, letter formation and sentence building. I plan to use “Letters Alive” during whole group and independent centers. The fundamental lesson that my students will learn is that they are the creators. Technology is just an enabler to help engage and build self-confidence within themselves.
