I am looking to provide my students with flexible seating options and sensory materials. The school I work at has a very high trauma rate for our students. These amazing kids need their very basic needs meet before they can begin to learn. This includes choice in how they are comfortable to learn and materials to hep them self regulate their emotions. Over 60 third grade students will have access to these materials! Help me give my students flexible seating options: comfy floor seats, wobble chairs, and wobble cushions to provide them with various options to learn in a comfortable environment! The flexible seating options allow students to have more control in their learning environment. The seating options will be available for students to use on a daily basis. These seating options allow students to get their wiggles out while remaining seated. The sensory items will be added to my calm down center for student use. Sensory items help to calm students' emotions and get them back on track to learn!
