A new rug will create a cozy spot for my kindergarten students to learn. We'll gather together to read, share, sing, create and learn! We are currently without a rug in our classroom. A new rug will help to make our classroom a home away from home for kids and teachers alike. Thank you for your consideration. A collection of multi-cultural dolls will allow all students to see their culture represented in our classroom. The dolls will also allow students to learn about other cultures. I will use the dolls to support learning throughout the year about cultural celebrations and cultural differences. The dolls will be shared with staff members who might need a doll to support a student in need of comfort. A subscription to Scholastic Magazine will supplement our Kindergarten curriculum and allow for a fun and engaging way to celebrate literacy. Families are asked to provide money throughout the year for various school needs: supplies, donations, field trips, and more. I would like to provide this educational tool without adding additional cost to the families of my students.
