These resources will help teach and strengthen my students social skills. We have seen a need for this since the start of this new year. Students will be able to use tablets to access my digital resources. Social skills are necessary for developing meaningful friendships and relationships with teachers. I will be able to make binders to send home as resources for parents to help generalize these social skills. We have students with Autism that need more intensive support to adjust to being back at school. We also do whole group literacy based language lessons that strengthen overall language skills. Use of these books make the lessons engaging and address many different goals during a therapy session. All of my students are needing to strengthen these skills and we are in need of resources to accomplish this. I have a “Marvel” themed classroom and we have a big game board in my room to help motivated students as they earn prizes and/or rewards.
