Balanced literacy is a HUGE part of instruction in N. Texas. These 5th graders are expected to love to read, but there are no materials, YET, in the classroom. As a last minute, new teacher hire, it would be AMAZING to give them a great start to the school year with new materials and fun things to read. Having access to a variety of books is essential in building their interest and comprehension levels within literacy. I would be beyond grateful for any help building in building a library for these kids! I know with help I can provide these kids with some awesome books and a memorable school year! Thank you so much for your support.
