With the resources collected I will be able to facilitate a fun and engaging way to help students develop social skills in a low-stakes setting. Many of my students here at the online academy suffer from social anxiety which means that the online curriculum works very well for them because it requires less face to face interaction with their peers and teachers. However we try to put an emphasis on our interpersonal relationships that we build with students to demonstrate how to have healthy and engaging conversations and social interactions. For the group of students I am going to be playing these social games with, they will go on to share their positive experiences with their peers and teachers and hopefully they will have developed skills to help them be successful in life.
