A visually appealing classroom library is so important. It allows students to get excited about books and choosing their own. The classroom library is also a great place to teach students effective strategies for selecting relevant, interesting, and appropriate reading materials. A good classroom library helps students locate books easily and gives them room to get comfortable. The most popular spot in my classroom was the library this year. That is why it is so important to me to focus on this central aspect. I want it to be a corner of the classroom where students can go pick up a good book, read and relax!
