I want to be able to give my students the option to sit, stand, or bounce regardless of the need. Kids aren’t meant to sit in a seat all day. They can’t effectively learn or retain information that way. In order to optimize my learning space, I want to provide multiple seating options such as a ball to bounce on or a standing desk. Energy should not be the reason that a student couldn’t maximize the environment where they are expected to learn. My hope is to try and understand where they’re coming from and give them multiple solutions to fix the problem.
