As a first-year teacher, my primary goal is to give my students every opportunity to succeed. It's amazing how quickly you realize that opportunity doesn't come easy or cheap. Although my students are lucky enough to have access to a variety of online programs that can adapt to meet their reading levels, we aren't able to fully utilize those resources with only 2 working computers in the classroom. Your donation will unlock access to multimedia texts and adaptive software to support vocabulary and literacy development for at-risk students. These tablets will allow my students to utilize adaptive online programs, read e-books with text-to-speech assistance, and conduct research with a variety of multimedia tools.
