All of our assignments are virtual. Therefore, each child has to have functioning electronic device, chromebook, laptop, desktop, or tablet to access Zoom and the virtual classroom. However many of my students devices are damaged, missing keys, slow processing, and in need of repair. I have 6 students that currently are not able to join their virtual classrooms because their devices are broken and the school has run out of reserve supplies. The school is doing all it can to help but it will be another 3-6 months before supplies will be renewed. These students want to learn and should not be held responsible for technology related issues to hamper their critical learning. These devices will make a lasting difference in their education.
