Like many children, my students get excited to use technology. I would love to support their desire to learn by adding two iPad minis to our classroom. We currently have 4 desktop computers in our classroom. The iPads will make a great addition to our room, allowing for more students to access educational programs and applications throughout the day. The iPads will be used throughout the day to supplement our lessons, reinforcing skills in all subject areas. The iPads will be a fun and interactive way for students to read and to review sight words, letters and sounds, and letter formation during their literacy stations. They will also be an engaging way for students to review number concepts during math. There are thousands of educational applications offered on the iPad, which can be individualized to support the needs of all my students. The iPads will be an exciting way to enhance instruction and for students to maximize their learning experiences in kindergarten!
