Due to the learning diversity of my students, I teach in small group settings. These reading materials will help broaden the scope of literature for my students. This provides some students independence to work on other tasks at their learning levels while I focus on one group of students at a time to reach their academic needs for success in the classroom. It also helps me build trust in the classroom when students don’t feel alone with their learning style. Reading bridges gaps and helps kiddos reach new and meaningful goals. Using the materials from Scholastic will help me engage my readers at their learning readiness level.
