First: Mindfulness Items! School can be frustrating when students are asked to sit all day and learn, but their bodies want to move AND learn. I want to create a mindfulness station that will give students a chance to take a short break when they need it and recharge so they learn the very best that they need to. Or maybe students need something that is not distracting but helps them focus by playing with something in their hands. Second: Flexible Seating All of my students come to me with different levels of energy and some students just need to be able to move, but still stay productive. By having these different flexible seating options, we all get what we want when we need it. I have productive students, and they are able to productively wiggle! These will really help my students be successful even starting on day 1.
