Students need not only academics, but emotional, social, and mental health support while in school and at home. Having a comfortable and safe space for students to come to, will aide in their ability to discuss the hard topics. The students will be able to use this space for calming down, mindfulness, social emotional learning and crisis intervention. Students need a place to go in school when life is tough. Whether it's a peer intervention or the need for resources in the community, I would like to be able to supply this space for the kids who need it most.

About my class
