We are requesting snacks because many of our families cannot afford to send them in. Without full bellies, they will not be ready to investigate the classroom to the best of their abilities. As a STEM school we know building structures out of LEGOs helps develop creativity while practicing engineering and math skills. We are asking for this set so they will have all they need to engage in this investigation. We are also hoping to use these materials in our Expeditionary Learning as an option for student to express their ideas. Lastly, the LEGOs will help them develop the vital fine motor skills necessary for writing.

About my class
