Science has to to be explored! Classroom and logistical constraints make this a challenge! With the Google Expeditions Virtual Reality goggles, students can explore many of the scientific concepts , events and locations without leaving the classroom! Let's send our next scientists on an adventure that will inspire our next generation! I will use the Virtual Reality goggles as part of a station rotation where students can understand the concepts being learned. The 7th grade science content includes Chemistry, Weather & Climate and Ecology. For the chemistry unit students will explore the molecular motion of molecules during the different states of matter. During the weather and climate unit, students can find themselves in the middle of a severe weather event. The ecology unit can allow students to visit the different ecosystems they are studying.
