The Scholastic News subscriptions are great for Reading, Science, and Social Studies. Scholastic News keeps up with current events and provides students with real life photographs to accompany the always interesting articles. These magazines keep students engaged while learning. Reading opens up doors to a world full of imagination and learning for children. The classroom library book sets will provide students with a variety of stories to take their love of reading to the next level. The book sets include chapter books which 3rd Graders enjoy. The chapter books also help to increase vocabulary, fluency, and reading stamina. Cursive writing is introduced in 3rd Grade and is one of the things that kids come into 3rd Grade most excited to learn. The cursive practice books will allow students to practice writing over and over again because dry erase markers are used on these books. The cursive rug is one more feature that students can use as a visual to aid in cursive writing while they sit and complete their work.
