Allowing flexible seating gives students the opportunity to not only choose where they'd like to sit, but which type of seating will help them learn successfully. An uncomfortable student is a distracted student and learning cannot take place. Are they needing constant movement? Try the bouncy chairs. Do they have sensory needs? Try the wobbly stools. Flexible seating makes learning FUN! When movement is involved, their desire and excitement for learning is stronger.
