The materials listed here will assist in creating an effective and safe learning environment for all of my students. I will be creating a "Zen Zone" (bean bag, weighted blanket) and where students are able to go to work on coping when frustrated or upset and calm down. I will also be preparing visual schedules and other visual aides that need to be able to withstand daily usage (through use of the laminator, paper trimmers, and velcro). Students also benefit from a token economy earning breaks with toys and other reinforcing items through appropriate behaviors during class time (cars, tracks, other toys). Sensory tools (chewys, theraputty/playdough, lite brite, and water tray) help regulate students emotions, focus, ans attention. Your support will help my students become all that they can!
