In my 15 years of teaching, I have learned that all children are different and learn in different ways. It is essential to provide students with different opportunities for learning such as using clipboards so students can work comfortably on the floor while sitting on a pillow. Movement is important and by providing students will various options for flexible seating, I am offering all the students ways to be successful in my classroom. The students should have the ability to make choices in their learning so it is my job to provide them with these opportunities. By providing different types of chairs, tables, seats and more, I am helping my students become decision makers in their learning. I look forward to providing them with these opportunities.
