My name is Sara Hagerman and this will be my first year teaching. I am very excited to have the opportunity to enrich the minds of sixth graders in math this year. Upon entering the classroom this year I noticed some resources needed to be updated. Calculators were on the list to slowly update as school funds became available. The goal is to update the calculators in the classroom with a 1:1 ratio per class period. By each student having the same calculator, it will be easier modeling instructions on how to complete a problem that may be completed as a group.
