The old easel in our classroom doesn't have wheels and does not have a large enough area to hang easel paper. Sometimes we don't need to save what is presented so having a large dry erase board would be practical. Having this large easel with wheels and adjustable heights will help my students feel professional as they present their mathematical solutions. As a manipulative, students enjoy writing on this type of surface. We often meet on the carpet area for math (and ELA too). The easel will be easy to move around and will be sturdy enough to not fall over. It can also be moved easily to a small group area for students to clearly see and use.
